Volunteer Opportunity

I need a parent to collate, hole punch, and attach a ring to math packet cards. All materials will be provided. This is a task that can be done at home, so if you are interested I can send everything home with your child. Thanks! :)

Pumpkin Math

A huge thank you to all the families who have brought in a pumpkin for our math project. We are still in need of kid-friendly carving tools. They will be returned when we are done with our project :)

Spelling Practice

A great resource to help your child study his/her spelling words is www.spellingcity.com Here you can enter their spelling words and then they can do games, practice, and take tests. Helps make studying the words a little more fun! :)

Space

We have been learning about space this week. We learned that constellations are groups of stars in the sky that form pictures. In addition, as the Earth turns we see the constellations facing different directions. We've also been talking about the planets and learning fun facts about each one.

Constitution Day

Thursday was Constitution Day in the United States. We talked about how the Constitution is the highest law in the land. Friday we looked out the different Amendments of the Constitution and what they meant.

Popcorn Party

Today the class had a popcorn party! :)

They earned a letter each time they walked in a quiet, perfect line or were lined up quietly outside the classroom. They spelled the words Popcorn Party and got their reward after lunch today. Yay 3rd graders!!!!
